What comes to your mind when you think of creativity?
Beautiful paintings, splendid images with vivid colours, men with long hairs and beards creating paintings and photographs. Isn’t it?
Because of our limited thinking, we always give credit for creativity to those who dress or look differently. Hence, we have hard time accepting normal looking people including us to be creative.
But the truth is that anyone can be creative. Creativity means creating something new and useful be it physical or intangible.
And children have the highest level of creativity.
But as we grow up, we lose our creativity because we don’t exercise our creative muscle. This may seem like it doesn’t matter but it plays a huge role in our day to day life.
Creativity plays a bigger part in your job, your relationships and life in general. Creative people are good at problem solving, they have fun in life and see it differently than others.
Moreover, creative people are much happier than the rest.
Sometimes, in life we have no other option than being creative because life will be stuck in routine and there will be no excitement. So if you have lost touch with your inner child, here are 6 creativity quotes to awaken your inner child.
We spend a lot of time trying to prove ourselves right.
We spend even more time trying not to make a mistake.
And this is the biggest killer of creativity. Because when we are so scared of losing, we never take any new steps to discover something new. If we don’t take any more action, how will we create something new?
All creative things were failure at first sight.
To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.
No one has ever created something worth remembering with the fear of being wrong. Because finally when you create something beautiful, people will only remember your success.

J.K. Rowling allowed herself to make mistakes. At one point, she was unemployed and depressed. She describes herself then as “the biggest failure she knew.”

Next time, when you are too scared to make a mistake, remember above lines.
Self-doubt can persuade us to stop creating or keep us from sending our creative work out into the world.
But there’s nothing to worry about doubt.
Doubt is simply a cost that all creative people have to pay on the way to doing meaningful work.
The more we doubt our work, the more we can be sure that it needs to be done.
Everywhere we see, there is competition.
Cut-throat competion. People are ready to do anything to beat each others.
But a real creative man is not motivated by the desire to beat others.
Competition is only there when you are doing what everyone else is doing. But where there is creativity, you are more concerned about achieving your goals than trying to beat others.
Reason? You are creating something new out of your creativity and not copying or modifying anyone else’s work.
